Bethany Life: Marquee Sponsorship for the 2017 Senior Variety Show

Kari Matheason (right), Chief Operations Officer at Bethany Life, presents the Senior Variety Show with a $1,000 Marquee Sponsorship check for its upcoming variety show. Bethany Life has been a loyal supporter of the show for many years. Receiving the check is Julie Minot, President of the Senior Variety Show Board. The 23rd Annual Senior Variety Show, “Feelin’ Groovy!”, celebrating the 60’s” showcases talented seniors from throughout Story County.  It will be performed August 18 and 20 at Ames City Auditorium.  Tickets are now on sale at RSVP/Senior Center in Story City; Ben Franklin Store in Nevada; and Eyeworks, Mary Kay’s Floral & Gifts, Heartland Senior Services, and Worldly Goods in Ames.

 


 

Osher Lifelong Learning Institute: Marquee Sponsorship for the 2017 Senior Variety Show

Jerilyn Logue (right), Program Manager for Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Iowa State University, presents the Senior Variety Show with a $1,000 Marquee Sponsorship check for its upcoming annual senior show,  Receiving the check is Ronnie Lindeman, Past President of the Senior Variety Show Board.  The 23rd Annual Senior Variety Show, “Feelin’ Groovy!–celebrating the ’60’s” will play on August 18 & 20 at Ames City Auditorium.  Net proceeds will benefit Story County Vietnam Veterans Chapter 1102, and Heartland Senior Services of Story County.

 


Ames Ford Lincoln: Marquee Sponsorship for the 2017 Senior Variety Show

Casey Johnson (left) and Nick Johnson (right) of Ames Ford Lincoln present Senior Variety Show representative Steve Bellin with a Marquee Sponsorship check for $1,300.  In addition to the sponsorship, Ames Ford Lincoln loans a car for the performers in the 4th of July parade and helps sponsor the cast party in August. The 23rd Annual Senior Variety Show, “Feelin Groovy–celebrating the 60’s!”  will be performed August 18 and 20 at Ames City Auditorium.

Northcrest Community: Marquee Sponsorship for the 2017 Senior Variety Show

Linda Doyle, CEO/Administrator of Northcrest Community presents a $1,000 Marquee sponsorship check to Senior Variety Show Treasurer Skip Walter in support of the 23rd Annual Senior Variety Show, “Feelin’ Groovy!”–celebrating the 60’s.   The performances will be August 18 and 20 at Ames City Auditorium.  Northcrest has been a supporter of this county-wide senior show for many years and also has some residents and staff participating.

 


 

The 23rd Annual Senior Variety Show is a recipient of a $2,500 community grant from the Ames Convention and Visitors Bureau for the 2017 season. Thank you, ACVB!
